I come from a performance arts background and I view therapy and healing as a creative, collaborative, and sacred process. I invite you to bring your full self and experience into the therapeutic process and I work to create a space of curiosity, care, and connection for you to get to know all parts of yourself and tend to what needs your attention. I seek to come from a place of cultural humility and investigate how my own lived experience impacts my work so that I can best hold space for you. I value collective liberation and I know that we are all interconnected. I have training and experience in several trauma informed types of therapy, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), drama therapy, and Multi-Dimensional Family Therapy (MDFT).
I enjoy helping you transform cycles of pain into cycles of healing, which often means getting to know and honor the parts of you that are working to protect you in extreme ways. I have experience working with people struggling with addiction, self-injury, behaviors towards others that feel out of their control, and other extreme ways of coping. I know that these things are the outward expression of a deeper pain and need and I enjoy helping people slow down and tend to their past and/or ongoing pain and needs in a new way. We live in an unjust world and I acknowledge the very real impacts of systemic oppression. I enjoy supporting my clients to connect to their power, resilience, and creativity to access greater self and collective care even while navigating ongoing stress.
I work with teens, adults, couples, and families. I love to support young people in connecting with their values and vision for themselves and their future, and I am passionate about helping families and couples heal and communicate in new ways. I also enjoy working with adults, especially those who have experienced trauma and are wanting support to process their experiences and to grow into greater healing and leadership in their lives.
